Whether an intellectual exercise or a women-centered sacred text, the Regendered Bible unsettles habitual thinking. For the past two and half years, Yael Kanarek has been rewriting the Torah, transitioning all characters to the opposite sex: Imagine Moshah on Har Sinai receiving the ten commandments from Elohin. During this group reading and discussion, we will explore these familiar stories through the mother-daughter lineage.
