Celebration Gathering [clear filter]
Sunday, November 17

11:20am

Celebration Gathering
The Celebration Gathering is our first-ever gathering of the entire festival from 11:20am to 12:40pm. This year we celebrate our 10th anniversary and gather to honor LimmudBoston’s founder Steffi Aronson Karp with an illustrious panel and music.

"Educating for What?" The Celebration rabbinic panel includes Toba Spitzer as moderator of a discussion with Art Green and Margie Klein Ronkin, who will take a look at the landscape of adult Jewish learning. They will consider what it looks like now – "book learning" + experiential learning + learning that spurs action – what IS working and what is not, why adult learning has been valuable in our community, and why it remains important.

Joel Segel, Benyamin Lichtenstein and Mitch Gordon will share their musicianship with songs of joyous celebration.
